Documentary Club

July 16th Chipotle is sponsoring a free screening of Food Inc. at E Street Cinema. Details can be found here http://www.chipotle.com/#/flash/fwi_food-inc.

Also, the National Press Club is launching their summer documentary series J-Docs. The Club's first-ever summer documentary film series premieres at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 20, with ``Breaking News, Breaking Down,' a film by former WUSA-TV anchor Mike Walter. The film, told through the experience of one journalist, tells the story of how reporters from throughout the world who came to New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina both helped rebuild a broken city and rebuild the spirits of the journalists who lived there.

The film took two years to make and premiered this year. Along with the film, there will also be a question-and-answer session with Walter and a panel talk on the film and the toll that covering crises take on journalists.

For questions on the series, contact Alan Bjerga at albjerga@hotmail.com . The film series will run Monday evenings in July and August. Free for all who attend, no reservation required. Stay alert for more announcements!

For questions on the film, contact Walter at mikewaltertv@gmail.com . Or check out the Facebook Event details here

.

Details coming soon about the upcoming DC www.documentaryclub.org viewing of The Future of Food. We're still shopping for the perfect venue so please feel free to make a recommendation. Cheers!
